I am Ornela , a freelance photographer based in London. Following my passion from a really young age in Greece has led me to a professional career in London. My main skill is to not let a great moment pass by without capturing it. Having worked next to great photographers and mentors, and attending workshops around Europe has broadened my understanding and perception of photography. My passion for work is boundless and my inspiration unlimited.

Anna Steinhouse Award - My new world
Wearing a mask has brought a few changes in communication.
I was getting on the bus the other day and the bus driver who was wearing a mask greeted me with a nod and I who was also wearing a mask smiled to try and greet back. I realised that as I was wearing a mask he wouldn't have seen that I was smiling under the mask.
When your smile is a polite gesture rather than a real feeling expression there's a chance that your eyes won't move to indicate what you're trying to say. There's a chance that you will come across as indifferent or even rude. So pay attention and be conscious of your eyes expression while everyone is required to wear a mask. These photographs are about my observation of this new world that's being created.
